Bucharest, May 9 /Agerpres/ - Romania's main motivation on the path to the European Union was awareness of belonging to a community of values from which it had been separated for more than half a century, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Titus Corlatean, underlined in a message conveyed on Thursday, on the Europe Day, also pointing out that, because of the crisis, "confidence in our common destiny is no longer strong at European level" and pleading for avoidance of the risk of a two-speed Europe.

Rome, May 1 /Agerpres/ - Minister Delegate for the Romanians Everywhere Cristian David on Wednesday, May 1, together with a delegation of the Romanians living in Italy, which was headed by president of the Association of the Romanians Living in Italy Eugen Terteleac, attended a meeting with Pope Francis as part of the general audience that took place in the Vatican on Wednesday and a meeting with Rome's Mayor Gianni Alemanno.

Bucharest, April 26 /Agerpres/ - Ways to take bilateral political dialogue to a deeper level, as well as economic and energy cooperation were the subjects of talks, this Friday, between Romanian Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean and his Azeri counterpart Elmar Mammadiarov, during the official visit to Baku of the Romanian chief diplomat.
